Hello, Puerto Rico!
Our first morning on the beach in Puerto Rico was breath taking, and that soon became a theme of our trip, in more ways than one. This post covers our initial greetings with the island, which took place with Jeremy at our side and lasted for 5 days. Let me introduce you to our temporary home! This is our casa at Vereda Del Mar in the city of Rio Grande. Here is what the front of our apartment building looked like. Our unit is on the first level, the one with the palm trees outside our bedroom window. We were at the front end of the gated complex, which was pefect because we were close to the security gaurds; they could keep an eye on our place directly from their little office by the gates. The basketball court and tennis courts were in view from all our windows. Pool was about 40 steps from our front door.
