Zavoral Villa!

*This post got deleted from my blog, so I am re-posting it.* We were excited and felt very blessed to have our birthdays. What a great time to reflect on all the challenges and triumphs that life has offered us. I turned 34 on October 14 , just six days before Jeremy turned 34 on October 20 . We had the privilege of being in Rome at the time, an absolutely incredible place.   At home, we enjoyed some simple birthday traditions with the boys.  Our family's birthday traditions consist of a dinner out to eat, cake at home, singing all 8 or 9 birthday songs that we know, spending about an hour talking about all the things the birthday person learned and experienced throughout the year, and as a way to "give back" for all that we've been blessed with, the birthday person chooses a special service to do. Halloween 2017 was the first year our boys dressed up independently from a family costume theme. They told me that we can't all be something together anymore, haha. Tanner had his  mind made up months prior about being Leonardo from TNMT. Dallin also had his mind made up months in advance about his costume. He really wanted to be a ghost (I think because he likes hiding under sheets and blankets) and was so excited to wear this fleece costume I made for him.    Jeremy does not like dressing up, but I ended up making him part of my costume. I was a Love Song and he was whom I sing about! We were not home much in October because Jeremy and I were in Rome and the boys were in Colorado with their Papa and Nana, where they did lots of autumn activities.   Back at home, we managed to make some sugar cookies.
